"Troas" is a triptych, three monologues in three parts. In the first, each of the three characters, Priam, Hector, Astyanax, talks about how he experienced the war. In the second, each person speaks as one of the other three. In the third, Troy speaks with the words of all three: one voice that includes all three generations and that transcends them leading to a total and final summary.
