'The Glass Between' invites us to an audiovisual journey, approaching the relationship between movement and sound, through a simple object: A separating glass. Developing elements of her doctoral thesis, Nefeli Stamatogiannopoulou explores ways in which glass, a fragile and at the same time strong material, is able to separate two worlds and combine the techniques of music and movement in a creative dialogue. Actors, dancers, musicians and video artists highlight on stage a continuous relationship of limits and ideals, with texts inspired by diaries and records of people who experienced confinement in prisons. Human bodies, combined with the timbres of the musical instruments, build the final musical composition of 'The Glass Between.'
